A fully automated line
The new line is fully automated: the operator loads the boards, and the machine handles the entire process up to unloading. This process helps us further increase production speed and efficiency, which we guarantee to our customers every day. Thanks to the reduction in buffering, a continuous cycle is created without excessive handling, which generally makes work difficult and of low quality.
Pick and place machines
The two Pick & Place machines for component assembly have different characteristics to meet the needs of all customers:
- the first one is composed of 2 HM heads, which are faster for execution but have dimensional limitations for certain types of components;
- the second one, on the other hand, has an HM head and an FM, capable of mounting larger components in height.
Other innovative features
Another highlight is the tray exchanger with 10 positions and the removable and interchangeable tables. The table setup is done offline, in order to optimize times and be even faster in programming and starting the subsequent processes. Optimizing times, however, does not mean losing quality:
our rolls, in fact, are characterized by a unique serial number, which allows us to trace back their entire history. This serial number is then read by the machine, which subsequently applies a QR code to the card to identify the traceability of each individual component.
Quality control
As an additional guarantee, with this line we offer two types of quality control: the first, SPI, which guarantees 100% control of the solder paste (area, height, and consequently volume), and the second, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), which creates a 3D image of the board for a more efficient control of errors and components.
